London Desk Transatlantic ground transport · GMT operating hours

The transatlantic desk.
London handoff to New York curb,
in one booking.

Your executive lands at JFK. The car is waiting. You confirmed it before you left the office in London — on your hours, through a single account handler, with GMT-time responses. That is what the London Desk is.

London GMT / BST
·
New York ET

Built for London-based travel professionals.

Three types of bookers use the London Desk. All three care about the same thing: a car that is already in position before the wheels touch down at JFK.

City / Canary Wharf EA
Running a managing director's NYC week for a bulge-bracket or boutique bank.
We remove the 06:00 coordination call, the vendor chase, and the flight-delay panic.
Mayfair Family Office PA
Coordinating a principal's quarterly board cycle across London and New York.
We remove the need to explain discretion requirements to a new vendor every quarter.
Global Travel Manager
Running a multinational's transatlantic ground programme from a London head office.
We remove the fragmented vendor list and replace it with one consolidated monthly invoice.

One account handler in London.
One ops partner in New York.

Your account is managed by a named London Desk handler who works GMT business hours. At the New York handoff window, the NYC operations desk picks up live — no briefing notes, no information gap, no repeated context. The two desks operate as a single unit on a shared trip record.

24-Hour Desk Rotation
London Desk 06:00 – 18:00 GMT
Overlap
NYC Desk 11:00 – 23:00 ET
Overlap window: 11:00–13:00 ET / 16:00–18:00 GMT — live handoff call available on request for complex multi-leg trips.
Named Account Handler
Every London Desk account is assigned a single named contact. You email one person. That person knows your preferences, your principal's requirements, and your billing structure.
London Partner Network
We do not operate London chauffeurs directly. Departure-side coverage (LHR, LCY, STN, FAB) is coordinated through a vetted London ground partner operating under Meridian's SLA and NDA requirements. This is the operational truth, stated plainly.
NYC Ops Desk
All NYC-side operations are Meridian-direct. Fleet, dispatch, and chauffeur assignment are managed from our New York operations centre. No sub-contracting on the arrival side.

London departures, coordinated under our SLA.

Departure-side coordination is handled through our vetted London partner. We manage the booking, confirmation cadence, and SLA monitoring. Pickup zones include Mayfair, Belgravia, Knightsbridge, the City, Canary Wharf, Notting Hill, St John's Wood, and Chelsea.

JFK
John F. Kennedy International
T1 · T4 · T7 · T8 by airline
Meet Point Chauffeur waits at baggage claim exit with name card. Central Hall meet available for T4 eligible flights.
Curb-to-Car Target: under 8 minutes from baggage claim exit to vehicle. Pre-positioned in cell-phone lot / on-airport staging; moves to arrivals on bag-carousel alert.
Delay / Diversion Dispatch adjusts in real time against flight data. Diversions to EWR or LGA trigger immediate notification to EA with revised ETA and alternate protocol.

Curb-to-Car Target: under 10 minutes. EWR staging zone managed against Airtrain-exit timing to avoid curb congestion.

Early Arrival Chauffeur pre-positioned at FBO per flight plan ETA. FBO ramp alert on block-in activates immediate vehicle advance.
